BBC GARDENERS' WORLD LIVE THEATRE

The theatre has a packed schedule of entertaining and informative talks. Reserve seats for just £2 in addition to Show tickets.

Selected sessions each day will have a sign language interpreter. These sessions will be marked with ‘S’ on the timetable as soon as possible.

Hard of hearing

A limited number of positions are held for visitors who use wheelchairs, and their carers, in each theatre session.

BBC GOOD FOOD SHOW

All tickets to BBC Gardeners’ World Live include FREE general admission to the BBC Good Food Show Summer, taking place in adjacent Halls at the NEC at the same time, packed with speciality producers and live stage demos from top chefs and experts.

There's no need for an additional ticket, you can browse freely between both outstanding BBC shows on the day of your visit.

The BBC Good Food Show Birmingham Summer offers recipe inspiration from top chefs and experts in the Big Kitchen, including Michelin masters Michel Roux Jr, Tom Kerridge and Raymond Blanc, queen of baking Mary Berry, Show favourite James Martin and the entertaining Hairy Bikers.

Whilst BBC Gardeners' World Live tickets do not include a seat in the Big Kitchen, you can purchase seats on the day from the Box Office for just £3 subject to availability.Click here to see the timetable.

The British Florist Association will be bringing an exciting mix of live demonstrations from top professional florists as well as the chance to browse and buy at the BFA Shop, which will be overflowing with beautiful flower bouquets and arrangements.

If you fancy seeing a professional florist at work, then stop by the BFA Flower Stage , where top London florist, Dennis van Wonderen will be in action across the four days with his stylish, informative and always entertaining floral demonstrations. Immersed in the world of cut flowers from a young age, there is nothing this Dutchman does not know about floristry! As he creates lavish hand-tied bouquets, tablecentres and vase arrangements, Dennis will be sharing plenty of hints and tips on how to make the best of your cut flowers in your home.

British Florist Association Shop

Just like any good high-street retail florist shop, the BFA Flower Shop will be full of fresh cut flowers, bouquets and arrangements, expertly arranged by skilled BFA florists. You can browse, buy or even order at the show with the BFA’s Design-to-Order service.

LET'S TALK ALLOTMENTS - EXPERT ADVICE FOR GROWING YOUR OWN

Join the experts from the National Allotment Society And Leisure Gardeners to find out practical, hands on, ways to growing your own fruit and veg with success! The team will be on hand with demo raised beds and a Q&A / talks area, ready to help you with any questions you may have about homegrown or allotments. Experts include Mike Thurlow the Horticultural Adviser at the National Allotment Society.

SCHOOL MEALBARROWS - MEALS, IN A BARROW!

An annual visitor favourite, the Mealbarrows return in 2018 with an array of local schools already planning their barrows, and choosing their tasty recipes.

Encouraging growing in schools, this competition demands creative thinking, inspiration and what's more - getting out into the garden! School children were tasked to plant up a wheelbarrow with all the home-grown ingredients required to rustle up a fresh and tasty summer recipe.
